I was born and raised in Nova Scotia, Canada.

The very 1920's attitude of, "If we don't see it, it doesn't exist," STILL remains there in most of the small farming towns.

My grandfather was a drunk, I knew a few kids who drank and did drugs, adults too--also knew some who beat their kids but you'd NEVER hear about it openly.

Always whispers, no one dared to acknowledge such things. Nova Scotia is a bumfuck backwards place and I am not surprised, nor particularly proud of this.

Well let's see here.....if he has already gone two weeks without his "medication for withdrawal", then he's just like I was -- a whiny junky looking for some drugs. He's free, so if he uses, it's just his choice to do so.
Suck shit, but it's the truth -- or my truth anyway.
Peace,
Scout

This kind of thing just pisses me off. When I genuinely asked for help, to get off heroin, I was turned away. Long story short, even today, they play with my life. It is sacrilegious and they have betrayed their Oath.

Ever since Anna Nicole and her son died they have been turning people away from Methadone.
Shit if it wasnt for Methadone MANY people would still be using today. Why cant they see that. What cant they see that the people who abuse it are the ones that die. As long as your using it the way your supposed to be then you will be fine. I hope this guy gets the help that he needs!
