Today's Heroin News

Genia1960 sent me this link about the addictive properties of Oxycontin, along with a plea to make the highly addictive drug even more difficult to access after the recent plea deal from Purdue Pharma. Sounds good to me!

NATO is re-examining its anti-opium production efforts in Afghanistan after recent questions regarding their policy. Word has it that this year's bumper crop of poppies will exceed last year's crop by 20%, which will further reduce the cost of heroin and other opiates on the street.

Two San Antonia, Texas teens were charged with possession with intent to distribute after a Hello Kitty bag was found under the counter in the convenience store where they worked. Police had received a tip that heroin was being distributed out of the store.
