I went with my Nar-Anon family last night to a small town a couple of counties away to help a fledgling Nar-Anon group get their very first meeting off the ground. My Nar-Anon sponsor, being our matriarch, lead the meeting, and we all told our stories of what we were like before, what happened, and how we've changed in recovery.
It really is an honor to be able to be a vessel for this message. I hope we helped someone who was there last night, but I know that we helped by bringing that little bit of light to people who are still suffering.
