Happy Birthday To Me!

Today is my blog's first birthday! I am taking a moment to give it a cake.

It's been a long year, blog.

Thanks to those of you who have been with me over the past year. It helps me more than I can explain to share my adventures as a junky's wife with you, both my pain and my healing.

It has been a long year and, then again it seems to have flown by. Congratulations. Not only for blogging for a whole year but also for growing, finding your better self and sharing it all with others along the way.

Happy Birthday. Now thats how you support your damn self. When my wife tells me she needs my support I just want to say "F*** you, go recover". Why not? Its basically what they said to us. Can you imagine telling a using addict or a drunk that they arent supporting you enough in your narcanon or alanon program.

WOW. You ROCK, JW. The way that you choose LIFE, every day, in the face of your SO's ambivalence, is a testament to your spirit.
Thanks for your example.
