Blood Paintings By Pete Doherty

Now who would a canvas smeared with his IV drug using, junkified, hepatitis-bearing-ass blood?

I mean, who besides me?

If I had money to blow on something ridiculous, I'd buy one. It's really bad, though. This guy, a tattooist named Vincent Castiglia, does some great blood paintings.

The Superficial reports that Doherty's selling the paintings because:
His friends say the paintings prove his innocence over claims he injected heroin into a passed out fan, and backup his story that he was actually drawing her blood to paint with.
Now, why is this better? Why should we feel relieved that he was only drawing blood from the unconscious girl to make these incredibly bad paintings?
