Class Action Lawsuit, Anyone?

How about the families of herion addicts band together to sue Bayer for inventing the crap in the first place? What a mess!

Here's an account of heroin's birth and father from Opiods.com. Bayer Laboratories chemist Heinrich Dreser actually believed that heroin would be a less addictive alternative to morphine, and the drug was promoted as such for several years before its addictive (and deadly) properties became clear.

It was actually marketed as a cough medicine for children! I'd like to see a marketing campaign for it now--turn grown men into children with coughs!

Well....they still use narcotics to get us off of narcotics, you know?
The bottom line is that we are addicts, so we would have found a way even without the help of Bayer.
Thanks for stopping by my blog.
We DO recover!!!!

Hi. Thanks for stopping by my blog.

Interesting thought, although the idea is that all drugs start off as an experimental thing to see how they might help us. I think more needs to be done for regulation and help for people who end up getting addicted. Advances in science are probably going to continue. Somethings will do harm, others will do good. Unfortunately, there will always be someone ready to exploit the bad side to things.

Thanks for bringing up an excellent, thought-provoking topic!
